Saying goodbye to Daddy for a week!!!

Last month we took a trip to Houston by way of Dallas! It was a fun-filled week of seeing old friends and family! While in Dallas we saw our great friends Brianne, Marnie, Sarah, Sarah, Nicole, and our wonderful neighbors Susana and the Kenneys. We also visited with our cousins Joan, Bob, Lauren, Matt, and Brittany. Camille loved seeing everyone and charmed them with her sweet smile!

We picked up our cousin Lauren in Dallas and she drove with us to Houston to visit our Aunt Jolene and Uncle Bobby. I think Lauren got a real introduction to parenthood while on our road trip! Camille had a nice poop that caused Lauren to gag!! I must say it was quite funny!! =) Sorry Lauren!

While in Houston we saw our cousin Sarah and Robin and we even got to see our wonderful friend Kelly and her three sweet girls!! We visited the Butterfly Garden in which Camille was a little unsure of .

Overall, it was a wonderful trip and we loved seeing everyone!!! We can't wait to see you all again!! Love to you all!!!

Happy 4th of July! We had such a wonderful weekend visiting with friends. Paul & Lara Miller came for a visit and Camille had a blast playing with their kids Ryan and Sydney. For the fourth we went to our friend Angela's house for burgers, hotdogs, and fellowship! Stephanie & Justin and their children Mason, Ellyson, & Madyson came to visit as well and joined in the festivities! We had such a great time together! Thanks everyone for the great visits- we love seeing you! Hope to see you soon!

Happy 6 Months Camille

Happy 7th Anniversary babe!

Camille is 6 months old! It's amazing how fast time goes by! She is growing so much and learning everyday! She is now able to sit up by herself- which she loves! She has several favorite toys that she enjoys playing with such as her little car and her singing dog. She is enamored with music!! Anytime I play music for her or sing to her ( I know I can't sing but she loves it) she smiles with glee!! We have also began playing with the wooden spoon and cups. Anything that makes sounds she enjoys!! She has become quite the social butterfly as well! She LOVES to talk ( jabber) and socialize with everyone! She has even made the mmmmm sound- maybe she will say mama first? Smiling and laughing at people really makes her happy! She has also started eating sweet potatoes and bananas. She really enjoys both but we are concerned that she is allergic to bananas because she broke out in a rash. Therefore, we are not eating bananas right now! We will start something new this week- maybe green beans?

On another note, Joey and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on the same day that Camille turned 6 months! I am so blessed to have Joey as my partner in life and the father of my child! I love you babe!

Father's Day Fun!

Father's Day was such a fun day! My parents drove in and we had a cookout to celebrate the day! Steven, Molly, Reed, and Sloan came over to join in the festivities as well!

I am so proud of the father Joey has become! He and Camille have such a wonderful time together!
