Father's Day Fun!

Father's Day was such a fun day! My parents drove in and we had a cookout to celebrate the day! Steven, Molly, Reed, and Sloan came over to join in the festivities as well!

I am so proud of the father Joey has become! He and Camille have such a wonderful time together!

Camille and I had a great day today! We had a wonderful playdate with Tammy and Tate! The girls are only 2 weeks apart! Tate was born on December 12 and Camille was born on December 28. We had such a fun day!! We went to lunch and then came back to the house and played on the floor. Thanks girls for a great day!

5 Months old today!

Where does time go? I can't believe my sweet angel is already 5 months old! It feels just like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital! She is growing so fast and changing everyday. She is still working on rolling over from her back to her tummy but hopefully in the coming weeks she will master it. Her voice is also changing a little. She now has a very high squeal and is making new sounds. She also started eating rice cereal a couple of times per day. She LOVES it!!!

Babies are like little sponges! I have been reading to Camille since she came home from the hospital and now when I read to her she is so attentive and just listens and really inspects each picture. I taught her how to turn the pages tonight and she loved doing that!

For those of you that don't know, I will not be returning to teaching next year. I will be staying home with Camille!It is bittersweet to be leaving a job that I love so much but I am so very excited and blessed to be able to have this time with her. She is such a joy in our lives and getting to spend everyday with her will be amazing!

I am so proud and blessed to be Camille's mommy!

Mother's Day and more!

I had the most wonderful first Mother's Day! The day started out with Joey cooking me waffles, sausage, and fruit! It was delicious! He and Camille got me flowers and a beautiful bracelet! It was a memorable day that I will never forget! I love our little family!! I am so blessed!

Reed's Third Birthday Party!

Reed (our nephew) had his third birthday party a couple of weekends ago at Kenny's Corral. It was a really fun place for kids to see all different kinds of animals. Camille enjoyed seeing the goats for the first time. We had a great time! Happy Birthday Reed!
