Playing Dress up!

About to roll over!

Yesterday, Camille and I had a fun day of playing dress up! Her Granny got her a sweet Easter outfit so we had to get some pictures in it! I probably had more fun playing then she did but overall she was a good sport about it! We are so excited to go see the Easter bunny- hopefully we will go this weekend! I will post pictures of that when we get them done.

Camille Rolling Over!

Camille has been rolling over since she was three weeks old but not consistently.... well she is a rolling over machine now!! This past weekend while we were moving into our new house, Camille was playing with her Granny and rolled over 4 times in a row! Last night I put her on her tummy for her "tummy time" and when I turned around she was on her back! I was so excited and proud that we practiced several more times and I got it on video! Way to go Camille!

We were so honored that our wonderful friends Jennifer and Ryan asked us to be their daughter Elodie's godparents. This is such a huge honor that we were so excited to be a part of! We look forward to guiding Elodie in her walk with God. She is such a sweet and beautiful girl! We are so blessed to be a part of her life! We love you Elodie!

We were so blessed to have Brianne, Marnie, and Nicole come visit over Spring Break! Camille loved meeting her aunts and spending quality time with them! They were even gracious enough to help unpack boxes in the kitchen! It was a huge job and it was a HUGE help! Thanks girls!!
We really appreciate you coming to visit! We love you!

The Floors: A labor of Love!

The New House: a labor of love

As you saw in our previous post, we are staining the concrete in our new house. It is a long and grueling process that includes backbreaking work (literally)! Joey has already had to see a chiropractor!
Joey did a fabulous job on the floors and we are very proud of him and all his efforts! The floors look awesome! I will post pictures of the final product with our furniture in the house soon!

The New House!!!

For those of you that don't know, we have been on a grand hunt for a new house for the last 9 months! It has been very frustrating trying to find the right house but we finally found one! Of course, we are going to do some renovations to it like we always do! We are taking out the carpet and tile in the entry, living, dining, and kitchen and we are going to stain the concrete. We did this in our old house and it looked fabulous! Here are some pictures of the progress. Hopefully we will be moving in to the house in about a week! Wish us luck!

Camille is finally able to wear some of her cute outfits so I am sharing those pictures too!

Two Months Old!

Where does time go? I can't believe my baby girl is already two months old!!! She is beginning to get a personality and is such a happy baby!! We went to the doctor and she is 24 inches long and weighs 9 pounds 15 ounces! The doctor thinks she will be a basketball player or a model because she is so tall! We are so blessed to have such a sweet and healthy baby!!

My first trip to Odessa without Joey!

Last week Joey was in Cincinnati for work so I decided to go visit the family in Odessa. It was tough getting a baby and two big dogs ready for a road trip all by myself but I did it! I proved to myself that I can do it!!! While we were there we got to see lots of friends and family! Camille and I loved getting to visit with everyone! We will do it again soon!

A visit from Granny and Paw Paw

We had an exciting treat a couple of weekends ago- Granny and Paw Paw came to visit the grandkids! We went over to Steven and Molly's house for lunch and fellowship! We really enjoyed visiting with them and Camille loved cuddling with Granny and Paw Paw. Sloan and Reed love seeing their new cousin. They can't wait for her to be big so they can play together! Thanks for coming to visit!

Making brownies together!

The other night we saw a recipe on food network for brownie pudding so of course we had to make them! Joey and Camille had fun stirring the chocolate together! Camille really wanted to try it!! It was such a great family night!
